Cambridge Preparatory Program
In an effort to ensure scholars are prepared to participate in Cambridge Courses in the future, Westwood Heights provides Cambridge preparatory classes in grade K-5th. The Cambridge International program has proven to prepare students for life after high school through its curriculum that is both rigorous and recognized internationally. Cambridge is an international program that is student-centered and develops the student to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged. Cambridge qualifications open doors for learners to be accepted at the world’s best universities. They are recognized by leading universities and employers around the world as evidence of academic ability. By choosing Cambridge, you will be giving your child a solid foundation for achieving high levels of academic and personal attainment.

Intellectual Disability Program (IND)

Westwood Heights Intellectual Disability Program provides individualized services based upon student needs Supports may include instruction in the Florida Standards Access Points for English Language Arts and Mathematics and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for Science and Social Studies. In addition, life skills related to independent functioning, social/emotional behavior, communication and related services such as physical and/or occupational therapy, nursing and specialized transportation are also provided to students as needed. 

Head Start
Head Start and Early Head Start are federally funded programs administered through Broward County Public Schools. These programs are designed to promote school readiness by supporting young children’s academic growth, relationship-building skills, self-regulation, and physical development, while also strengthening families.
 

Preschool ESE
This program serves young learners with special needs by offering individualized instruction, therapies, and inclusive learning experiences tailored to each child’s development.
